How to use Catwings

The instructions on how to use Catwings differ slightly depending on whether you are using "regular" Catwings or Cat-thulhu Catwings.

How to use Catwings

  1. Choose a moment when your cat is feeling calm. Antsy cats donít like wearing costumes. (Some cats never like wearing costumes.)
  2. Wrap the elastic loop on the Cat-thulhu Catwings over the back of your catís collar. The loop goes over the top of the collar band, down between the collar and the back of your catís neck. (You donít need to take the collar off to do this.)
  3. Pull the elastic loop toward you, then up and over the button. If the fit is too loose, try tying a knot in the elastic loop to shorten it, and then try steps 2 and 3 again. Also make sure the catís collar is not too loose, or the wings may not stay centered on his/her back.
  4. Bend and pose the wings so they look nice. If you bend them back out of your catís range of peripheral vision, your cat might like that better.
  5. Take lots of photos of your cat. Tell your cat how beautiful and angelic (or demonic, or dragon-like!) he or she looks. Reward your cat with lots of treats.

How to use Cat-thulhu Catwings

  1. Choose a moment when the omens are particularly vile and your cat is feeling calm. Cats are not aways in the mood to wear wings or invoke Great Old Ones.
  4. Bend and pose the wings so they look as evil and menacing as possible. (If you bend them back out of your catís range of peripheral vision, he/she might prefer that.)
  5. Observe the unspeakable horror that is your cat. Bow down in the depths of your pathetic trembling soul. Place offerings before your cat and back away slowly, yet understand that you are doomed no matter how far you may flee. Cat-thulhu will devour us all!

Notes:

  • Be sure to take the Catwings off before you leave your cat alone, or if he/she starts to become annoyed. Never leave a pet unattended in a costume, or make it wear a costume if it is unhappy with it.
  • Contrary to popular belief, Catwings do not actually convey the ability to fly, so don't try it. They are for dress-up only.
  • Spot clean gently with a damp sponge.
